SANTA CLARA, Calif. – After its most complete performance of the season in Tuesday's home victory over UC Riverside, Santa Clara plays its next three games on the road, starting with Saturday's matchup against Washington State (5-5). Tipoff is set for 1 p.m.
Senior forward Nate Kratch and sophomore guard Matt Hauser each scored 18 points to lead four players in double figures as the Broncos (5-6) downed UC Riverside, 77-53. Hauser, who tallied 10 assists, recorded his third-career double-double (all this season) and Kai Healy (10 points/10 rebounds) posted his first ever in a game the Broncos held the Highlanders to 32 percent shooting from the floor and just eight second-half field goals.
