SANTA CLARA, Calif. – There are still four months before the start of the 2016-17 season, but Santa Clara men's basketball has been ramping up its preparation this summer.
The team, under the direction of first-year head coach Herb Sendek, began summer workouts on June 16, and will be able to increase the workload on July 26, when the Broncos begin practicing for an exhibition tour to Italy. The 11-day trip, which includes three games, starts Aug. 20.
