SANTA CLARA, Calif. - After wins in its first two games of the season, Santa Clara men's basketball faces Nicholls on Saturday in the finale of the Bronco Invitational, a four-team, round-robin tournament.
Jalen Williams scored 14 and Jaden Bediako (10 points/14 rebounds) and Keshawn Justice (11 points/10 rebounds) each had double-doubles to help the Broncos escape with a 66-63 victory against UC Davis on Friday. Santa Clara (2-0) turned the ball over 17 times and hit only 16 of 29 free throws, but Williams helped seal it with two free throws in the final 2 seconds.
