Men's Basketball Finishes Homestand Saturday, Faces Portland

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara men's basketball caps off its three-game homestand on Saturday with a matchup against Portland.

Tipoff between the Broncos and Pilots is set for 6 p.m. in Leavey Center.

After winning six games in a row at home, the Broncos (11-11, 3-5) have dropped four of their last five overall. Santa Clara will have six-day break between games.

Last time out, Loyola Marymount rallied from nine down at the half to claim a 69-61 victory. James Batemon had 20 points and Dameane Douglas a double-double (16 points/10 rebounds) for the Lions who held the Broncos to 27 percent shooting from the floor in the final 20 minutes.
