ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Santa Clara men's basketball looks to get back on the winning track when it faces Anchorage-Alaska on Thursday in its second game of bracket play in the GCI Great Alaska Shootout. The Broncos and Seawolves, host of the eight-team tournament, will meet in the consolation bracket at 9 p.m. Pacific.
Santa Clara (1-3) fell to Idaho, 69-59, on Wednesday in the opener at Alaska Airlines Center, while Alaska-Anchorage (3-3) was upended by CSU-Bakersfield, 59-39. The Broncos are making their third appearance in the 40-year tournament, which is ending this season.
