SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Santa Clara men's basketball team will open the 2020-21 season this week, but the women's program will have to wait for its first game.
The men will serve as host to the Bronco Invitational, a three-day, round-robin tournament featuring UC Davis, Idaho State and Nicholls State that kicks off Wednesday.
The women's team began a 14-day quarantine on Tuesday due to a positive COVID-19 test. Practices and games will resume at the end of the required quarantine period.
