SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara baseball announced the second member of the 2021 recruiting class, Thomas Gould. The infielder from Junipero Serra High School in San Mateo, Calif. was named second team All-West Catholic Athletic League as a sophomore in 2019.
"I chose Santa Clara University because Coach Filter and his experienced coaching staff have built a winning program and are taking SCU baseball to the next level. Ever since I walked onto the campus, I've really connected with the coaches and I am excited to begin working with them," said Gould who will join fellow Padres alum, assistant coach Jon Karcich and director of operations Sean McMillan.
