LOS ANGELES -- Stefan Jovanovic scored 14 points, Shamar Johnson added 12 with eight rebounds, and Loyola Marymount beat Santa Clara 66-56 on Saturday night to end a three-game skid.
The Lions (8-7, 1/3 West Coast) outscored the Broncos 36-18 in the paint and scored 16 points off of 11 turnovers.
Tied at 28 at halftime, Jovanovic's jumper put the Lions up 45-42 with 10:37 left in the second half. The Broncos closed to 49-48 on Nate Kratch's jumper and to 54-53 on KJ Feagin's 3-pointer with 4:44 to go.
