SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara men's basketball junior guard Jalen Williams announced on Thursday his intentions to declare for the 2022 NBA Draft while maintaining his collegiate eligibility.
The junior sharpshooter is coming off his best year as a Bronco in which he averaged 18.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game en route to earning first team All-WCC and second team all-region honors. Williams was the only player in that nation to average those numbers while also shooting 56 percent from 2-point range and 41 percent from beyond the arc.
