SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Kelcie Hedge was named West Coast Conference Player of the Year and six other Santa Clara women's soccer players brought home All-West Coast Conference honors, including a league-high four first-team picks, as announced by the league Tuesday.
Hedge becomes the 11th Bronco to take home player of the year and the first since the Broncos had back-to-back winners in 2014 (Sofia Huerta) and 2013 (Julie Johnston).
She joined Maria Sanchez, Kelsey Turnbow, and Alex Loera on the first team with Maddy Gonzalez, Marika Guay, and Skylar Smith being named honorable mention.
