SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara University and the Bronco Bench Foundation will honor the school's 2016 Athletics Hall of Fame class on Saturday, May 21 at the Red & White Celebration.
This year's inductees include former men's basketball coach Dick Davey, Kelly Rickon Mitchell (men's rowing/women's cross country), Leslie Osborne (women's soccer) and Randy Winn (baseball/men's basketball).
Davey first served as an assistant coach beginning in the 1977-78 season before taking over as head coach in 1992-93, leading the Broncos to three NCAA Tournament appearances while compiling 251 wins and finishing among the top three in the West Coast Conference standings nine times in his 15 years.
