WALNUT, Calif./DAVIS, Calif. — Jack Davidson highlighted a busy weekend for Santa Clara track and field by posting the fastest 5000m time in program history Friday in Murdock Stadium at the Mt. SAC relays. The freshman's 14:23.35 broke Kurt Ruegg's previous best mark (14:26.63 at the 2015 Husky Classic) by more than three seconds.
The Broncos also competed on Saturday at Woody Wilson Track as part of the Woody Wilson Classic. Bevin McCullough posted personal best marks at 800m (2:23.91) and 1500m (4:51.51), both of which were good for sixth in their respective fields.
