MADRID, Spain - Day two of the 2022 men's basketball foreign tour saw the Broncos take to the court for their first European practice before heading across town to check out the Palacio Real de Madrid (Madrid Royal Palace).
Practice lasted roughly 1 1/2 hours as the Broncos prepped for their first game of tour, which will be held on Tuesday at 8 p.m. local time (11 a.m. PT) against Club Baloncesto Estudiantes in Madrid. Sophomore Brandin Podziemski was mic'd up to share his thoughts on the practice, the trip itself and his transition from Illinois to Santa Clara.
