Claire Choi and Skyler May were red-hot all day, and are currently fighting for medalist honors. Choi is the day one leader at 3-under 70-71--141 while May is right on her heels at 2-under 73-69--142.
Choi's opening round saw the Honolulu product offset three back-nine bogeys with a trio of birdies.
