Bob Medina Hired as Assistant Athletic Director, Sports Performance

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara hired Bob Medina as assistant athletic director, sports performance. Medina spent the last three seasons at BYU as the Cougars strength and conditioning coach where he worked with men's basketball. He also has extensive experience working in the NBA.

Before going to BYU, Medina over two decades working in the NBA as a strength coach. From 1997-2013 he was the Portland Trailblazers strength and conditioning coach.

With Portland he managed and coordinated comprehensive and individualized in-season and off-season strength and conditioning programs. He also worked with the medical staff to prevent injury and speed recovery time.
