MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – Santa Clara baseball opened its series with Villanova with an 8-3 win at St. Francis High School on Saturday evening.
The Broncos (7-4) took the lead right away with three runs in the first and would add two more in the fourth and another three-spot in the fifth to create some distance.
The offense was paced by Efrain Manzo and Coleman Brigman who both had big games. Manzo finished the night 3-for-3 with a home run, a double, a walk, three RBIs, and two runs scored. C.
