Baseball to Host UConn and Purdue at Stephen Schott Stadium

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara baseball opens an eight-game homestand at Stephen Schott Stadium on Tuesday against Connecticut at 6 p.m. PT and then hosts Purdue for a four-game series that begins on Thursday.

"It's hard to see with an understandable focus on the win-loss column, but this young team is learning, growing and improving game by game," head coach Dan O'Brien said. "It's critical that we stay focused and concentrate on getting better every day. If we do that, I think we're going to surprise some people as the season develops."
