Baseball Tallies Season-High 15 Hits in 13-7 Win over New Mexico

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Santa Clara baseball belted a season-high 15 hits and matched its season-best mark with 13 runs scored in a 13-7 win over Mountain West Conference-leading New Mexico Tuesday night at Schott Stadium. The team scored seven runs in the first two innings and totaled seven extra-base hits en route to its fourth win in the last six games.

The Broncos (15-16) improved to 4-1 in 2016 midweek contests with their victory over the Lobos (23-10).

TC Florentine hit a two-out, RBI single to center field to open the scoring for the Broncos in the first inning.
