Baseball Opens Series With Win Over San Francisco

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara baseball stayed hot and won its seventh game in a row 4-3 over San Francisco Friday night from Schott Stadium.

With the score tied at three after the Dons (16-24, 7-15 WCC) had scored two in the top of the seventh, the Broncos (25-15, 11-8 WCC) put runners on the corners with one out before Dawson Brigman laid down a perfect bunt to bring home the game-winning run.

Eamonn Lance and JonJon Berring both had two hit nights with Lance adding a solo home run and Berring scoring a run.
