SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Saturday was an opportunity for Santa Clara Athletics to celebrate its past and present.
The Broncos presented their 2016 Hall of Fame class Saturday evening during the annual Red and White Celebration at Malley Center on the Santa Clara campus.
This year's inductees included former men's basketball coach Dick Davey, Kelly (Rickon) Mitchell of men's rowing and women's cross country, women's soccer player Leslie Osborne and Randy Winn, who played both baseball and men's basketball.
The Red and White event, an end of academic year celebration, also was an opportunity to recognize current student-athletes with Senior Awards, as well as the department's endowment benefactors.
