SANTA CLARA, Calif. - As part of a drive to enhance and elevate the prominence and reputation of athletics at Santa Clara University, two multimillion-dollar gifts from alumni and longtime supporters of Santa Clara University will enable the University to build a 50,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Athletic Excellence Center.
The facility—to be named the Stephen C. and Patricia A. Schott Athletic Excellence Center—has received lead funding of $15 million from Stephen C. '60, Hon. '13 and Patricia A. Schott Hon. '13, and $10 million from Mary '84 and Mark Stevens.
