OAKLAND, Calif. - Another successful year in the classroom for Santa Clara men's water polo has culminated in a total of 14 student-athletes being recognized for the academic prowess by earning on a spot on the Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) 2021-22 Men's All-Academic Team.
The Broncos tied with San Diego for the third-most representatives on the team among the nine-team league. Cal Baptist had the most with 16 while LMU had 15 selections.
To be eligible for WWPA All-Academic honors, a player must have competed in at least 50 percent of his team's contests during the current season, carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.
