SAN JOSE -- The Sharks weren't perfect in the first five games of their second round playoff series against the Nashville Predators. But there was a belief among players and coaches that they were getting a little bit better each night.
However, after Monday night's 4-3 overtime loss to the Predators, who knows what to believe, other than the Sharks will need to be much tighter defensively and more careful with the puck in Thursday's Game 7 at SAP Center if they want to keep their season alive. The Sharks took a step back in Game 6 after establishing how they needed to play in the latter half of Game 4 and nearly throughout Game 5.
