Will Thursday's early start time for Game 7 of the Sharks-Predators playoff series mean more empty seats at SAP Center?
The National Hockey League moved the game's opening faceoff to 6 p.m. after Pittsburgh defeated Washington on Tuesday night and scratched a potential Thursday Game 7 in that series. That leaves San Jose-Nashville as the only NHL game on the schedule, so for network television purposes, the game will begin about 90 minutes earlier than the Sharks' normal puck drop. Two weeks ago, the Sharks failed to sell out a playoff game for the first time in history. But the last two contests against Nashville have been announced sellouts, albeit with some empty seats from unused tickets.
