We kick off the top ten Sharks under 25 today with Swedish winger Marcus Sorensen. Sorensen was signed to an entry level contract in May of this year. He was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the fourth round of the 2010 draft, but they failed to sign him before the June 1, 2012 deadline.
At 24 years of age, Sorensen has played in Sweden since 2008. He had 15 goals and 19 assists in 47 games played for Djurgardens IF in the Swedish Hockey League last season. He won rookie of the year for the SHL after scoring 32 points and making a playoff appearance during the 2014-15 season.
