Sorensen leads the way in another Sharks win

SAN JOSE — Marcus Sorensen continues to be a difference-maker in Erik Karlsson and Evander Kane’s absences.

The Sharks improved to 2-0 without Karlsson and Kane on Sunday as Sorensen scored the game-winning goal in a 5-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks at SAP Center.

Sorensen scored his third goal in two games at 4:27 of the third, burying a pass from Joe Thornton in the high slot. Prior to rejoining the Sharks lineup on Friday, Sorensen had missed two straight games with an injury after taking a puck to the face in Columbus on Feb. 23.
