SAN JOSE — While the Sharks still have some moves to make before the start of the 2018-19 season, they at least know when their first game at SAP Center will be this year.
The Sharks’ first regular season game in San Jose this year will be Oct. 3 against the Anaheim Ducks, as the NHL on Wednesday announced the home opening dates and opponents for all 31 teams. The full schedule for each team will be announced Thursday at 2 p.m. (PT).
The Sharks beat the Ducks four games straight in the first round of the playoffs earlier this spring.
