The Sharks agreed to standard, entry-level contracts with a pair of former fifth round picks in Michael Brodzinski and Danny O’Regan, they announced on Saturday.

Brodzinski, a 20-year-old defenseman, was drafted in the fifth round (141 overall) by the Sharks in 2013. He recently finished his junior season at the University of Minnesota, posting eight goals and 21 points in 37 games while being named to the Big Ten Second All-Star team. In 99 career games with the Golden Gophers, he has 48 points (18g, 30a), 62 penalty minutes and a plus-26 rating.

The 5-foot-11, 195-pounder recently joined Sharks’ AHL affiliate, the Barracuda, playing the past five games.
