Sharks roll past St. Louis Blues

SAN JOSE — This might be the Sharks fourth-ever appearance in a Western Conference final. But they entered into new territory Thursday with their 3-0 win over the St. Louis Blues.

The Sharks are leading a conference final for the first time in their 25-year history, and perhaps an appearance in a Stanley Cup final has never seemed so real. Tomas Hertl scored twice, Joonas Donskoi added his first goal of the series and Martin Jones finished with 22 saves for his second straight shutout and third in four games as the Sharks took a two-games-to-one lead in the series, which resumes Saturday at SAP Center with Game 4.
