ST. LOUIS — The Sharks shined on special teams and got another shutout performance from goalie Martin Jones to even their Western Conference finals series with the St. Louis Blues at one game apiece.
Brent Burns had a power play goal and Jones finished with 26 saves for his second shutout in three playoff games as the Sharks beat the St. Louis Blues 4-0 in Game 2 on Tuesday to gain home ice advantage in the series, which resumes Thursday at SAP Center.The Sharks also killed 11 minutes and 24 seconds worth of penalties, including a double-minor to Patrick Marleau for high sticking Carl Gunnarsson 32 seconds into the third period.
