Sharks Reassign Bergman to the Worcester Sharks

SAN JOSE - San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) General Manager Doug Wilson announced today that the club has reassigned defenseman Julius (YULE-ee-us) Bergman (@juliusbergman21) from London (OHL) to the Worcester Sharks (AHL).

Bergman recorded 42 points (13 goals, 29 assists) and 78 penalty minutes in 60 games this season with London of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). The first year player led all London defensemen in points, goals and power-play goals (six), and posted four goals and two assists in 10 playoff games for the Knights.

The 19-year-old blueliner played for Frolunda in the Swedish Junior League during the 2013-14 season.
