SAN JOSE -- The Sharks said earlier this week that they were prepared for their Western Conference semifinal series with the Nashville Predators to go awhile.
As odd as it sounds following the Sharks' heartbreaking 4-3 triple overtime loss to the Predators on Thursday, a long series might not be such an unbearable thing.With the series knotted at two wins apiece, the Sharks host the Predators in a pivotal Game 5 on Saturday night at SAP Center. Win, and the Sharks can close out Nashville on Monday. Lose, and they'll face the prospect of elimination for the first time this postseason.
