CALGARY, Alberta — After finally putting things together at home Saturday, scoring seven times in their most impressive victory of the season, the Sharks hit the road Monday looking for more.
And for the most part, San Jose got what it was looking for.
Despite losing defenseman Justin Braun to injury, the Sharks made it two in a row, holding off the Calgary Flames 5-4.
Brent Burns snapped a third-period tie with a power-play goal, and Joel Ward scored midway through the period to help San Jose climb ahead of Calgary and Anaheim into fourth place in the Pacific Division.
