SAN JOSE -- Sharks forward Matt Nieto is not ready to return from an upper body injury but hopes he can play before the end of this series.
Nieto was on the ice again Thursday as the Sharks went through their morning skate at their practice facility in advance of Game 3 of the Western Conference finals against the St. Louis Blues.Nieto has been out since the first period of Game 6 against the Nashville Predators, and Thursday's game will mark the fourth that he will miss."It does suck, I'm not going to lie," Nieto said. "It's nice being around the guys, but it's even better being out there and battling with them, so it's especially tough.
