Sharks enjoy being couch-potatoes while awaiting Ducks or Predators

SAN JOSE -- The Sharks players have no qualms with taking a few days to recharge as they wait to find out who their opponent will be for the second round of the NHL playoffs.

"I don't think I left my couch for more than two hours the last couple days," Sharks center Logan Couture said Monday, three days after they wrapped up a five-game series win over the Los Angeles Kings. "It was nice to rest and watch some hockey and get the body back to feeling good again." The challenge for Sharks coach Pete DeBoer and his staff is to find balance between adequate rest and getting mentally and physically prepared for what should be another grueling postseason series against the Anaheim Ducks or Nashville Predators.
