The San Jose Sharks, on Tuesday, acquired goalie Martin Jones from the Boston Bruins for forward prospect Sean Kuraly and a 2016 first round pick. Jones had previous been traded to Boston by the Los Angeles Kings, who had acquired Milan Lucic as a part of that trade.
The move comes two days after former Sharks starter Antti Niemi‘s rightswere traded to the Dallas Stars in exchange for their 7th round pick (193rd overall) in Saturday’s NHL Entry Draft. Nemo was signed to a three-year contract on Monday.
