SAN JOSE – After Tuesday’s loss to the Blue Jackets, Pete DeBoer hinted that some changes could be coming to the Sharks lineup.
The first shoe dropped on Wednesday morning, when the Sharks announced that forward Barclay Goodrow had been reassigned to the Barracuda. In 12 games, Goodrow had no goals and 3 assists.
Since Logan Couture’s injury, the Sharks have gotten next to nothing offensively from their third and fourth lines. Goodrow has played mostly as the left wing on the fourth line, and even started two games on the third line without much success.
“We’re really pushing to get more productive minutes out of our third and fourth lines,” DeBoer said on Wednesday.
