San Jose Sharks forward Nikolay Goldobin will make his NHL debut on Friday evening against the New Jersey Devils. The skilled winger was selected 27th overall by the Sharks in the 2014 Entry Draft and was one of the team’s final roster cuts prior to the start of the 2015-16 season.
Goldobin was called up from the San Jose Barracuda on Friday morning after the Sharks announced that center Logan Couture will miss four to six weeks with a broken right fibula. Couture sustained the injury during the team’s morning skate in New Jersey on Thursday.
