SAN JOSE -- It seems logical to think the Sharks cleared two significant hurdles toward winning their Western Conference quarterfinal series with the Los Angeles Kings by taking the first two games on the road.
But not a lot has made sense when it comes to the Sharks' record at and away from home this season.The NHL's best road team earned two one-goal victories over the Kings to take a 2-0 lead in the first round series. The Sharks won't have to return to Los Angeles if they can somehow solve their season-long inconsistency at home, starting with Monday's Game 3.
