Sorensen, also known as ‘Marcus Scorensen,’ was born on April 7th in 1992 in Sodertalje, Sweden. The 5-foot-11 inch right-wing was drafted 206th overall in the 2010 draft by the Ottawa Senators but never actually played a game for them.
The Senators would not sign him by the deadline, so Sorensen had the ability to sign wherever he would like.
