With the NHL's Feb. 24 trade deadline drawing closer, there's growing speculation among fans and pundits over which players could be on the move in the coming weeks.
Pending unrestricted free agents on non-contending clubs that can't, or won't re-sign them tend to be the type of players shopped at this time. New York Rangers winger Chris Kreider and Los Angeles Kings winger Tyler Toffoli are two notable examples surfacing in the rumor mill of late.
Several restricted free agents, however, have also recently surfaced in media trade chatter.
