Patrick Marleau reportedly may be willing to expand his list of preferable trade destinations.
On Tuesday, an NHL source told CSNCalifornia.com that Marleau’s preferred destinations for any possible trade were the Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks and New York Rangers.
ESPN’s Craig Custance confirmed that report, but added those teams “were categorized more as a preference rather than the only three teams in the league in which Marleau would accept a deal, keeping the door open for another option to emerge.”
According to several reports, Marleau is thought to be the one interested in exploring his options for a trade.
