The San Jose Sharks are back on the ice this evening, just over 24 hours after winning in overtime against the Colorado Avalanche. Let’s hope the Sharks didn’t leave it all out on the ice because the Detroit Red Wings are well rested. Detroit was in town to watch the game. The Red Wings have won seven of the team’s last ten games and are 8-4-0 for the season, good enough for second in the Atlantic Division.
So far on this California roadie, Detroit has had a split decision. The Red Wings beat the Los Angeles Kings in overtime on Thursday night, but lost to the Anaheim Ducks on Friday night.
