The good news for San Jose Sharks fans after tonight’s 7-2 loss to the Los Angeles Kings is that Macklin Celebrini scored, ending a five-game goal-less streak. You can count pretty much everything else as bad news.
The Sharks suffered a good, old-fashioned beatdown at the hands of the team’s Southern California foes, and it’s hard to say the Sharks didn’t deserve it. Adrian Kempe and the Kings jumped on San Jose early, scoring just 90 seconds into the game. It was a sign of how the game would go for Los Angeles and Kempe, who finished the night with a hat trick and four points in total.
