A late equalizer by Logan Couture wasn't enough as Jannik Hansen's goal with five minutes to go gave the Canucks a 4-2 win over the Sharks on Thursday night.
San Jose fell behind the Canucks 2-0 early but managed to come back on goals by Patrick Marleau and Logan Couture. An unlucky turnover in the Vancouver zone by Joe Thornton led to an odd-man rush and Hansen powered a shot past Martin Jones for the game-winning goal.
Vancouver came out with a much better start than the Sharks and capitalized as Daniel Sedin scored a minute into the contest.
