SAN JOSE -- So now the Sharks face yet another door scrawled with graffiti.
"HOPE-SQUASHING FADERS!" is one of the scrawls. "BALLOON-DEFLATING SOUL DESTROYERS!" is another. And, of course, the traditional and romantic: "OH, NO, NOT AGAIN!"Saturday night, do the Sharks break down that door and destroy the graffiti? Or does the team leave the door on the hinges and buttress its reputation -- as a nice and talented outfit that breaks out of the playoff gate impressively before suddenly slamming shut any Stanley Cup prospects? In the first round last month, the Sharks proved a point. They broke down one door by vanquishing their Los Angeles Kings demons.
