The San Jose Sharks couldn’t pull off a comeback Friday as they did in Game 3.
The St. Louis Blues came out and scored early in Game 4 with Ivan Barbashev making a goal within the first minute. The Blues followed that up later with another score by Tyler Bozak toward the end of the first period.
The Sharks and Blues fought to a standstill in the second period. The game was marked with physical play and scoring attempts that missed by inches.
In the third period, Tomas Hertl was able to score, but the Sharks couldn’t force another overtime.
