Downtown business and property owners understand and welcome the legal challenges to the current plans for extending Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) to San Jose filed by the San Jose Sharks in the past two months.
It would be wrong to mistake our concerns for opposition. We strongly support BART’s extension to two downtown San Jose stations – one at Market and Santa Clara streets, and the other at Diridon Depot, across the street from SAP Center.
