SAN JOSE — New father Erik Karlsson rejoined his teammates for practice Friday morning and indications are he will play in the Sharks’ home opener against the Vegas Golden Knights at SAP Center.
Karlsson’s wife, Melinda, gave birth to a baby girl, Harlow Rain. Karlsson posted a photo in his Instagram account of the family’s new addition Thursday evening.
Karlsson had to miss the Sharks’ season-opener against the Golden Knights on Wednesday as he left Las Vegas shortly before the game at T-Mobile Arena. The Sharks lost the game 4-1.
