Victor Hedman had a goal and two assists, and Steven Stamkos capped Tampa Bay’s three-goal, third-period rally to lift the visiting Lightning to a 3-2 victory over the Edmonton Oilers on Friday.
“We showed how lethal of a team we can be when we shoot the puck,” Hedman said.
Nikita Kucherov also scored for the Lightning, who benefited from some luck as each of their three goals deflected in off an Edmonton skater.
The Lightning pulled to 2-1 three minutes into the third period as Kucherov’s shot went off defender Brandon Davidson and past goalie Cam Talbot.
